Experience the mountain summer
Ramsau am Dachstein is the summer-holiday destination in Styria. The alpine climate with the most hours of sunshine in Styria make for a distinct climatic spa. It is its infrastructure, its alpine pastures, its culinary treats at mountain huts and restaurants, and the Dachstein glacier that make our holiday region stand out. At Hotel Berghof hiking and mountain bike trails are on your doorstep, and you can start your tour up to the summits of the Dachstein massif. Enjoy!
Via ferrata
Ramsau am Dachstein is the cradle of via ferratas. From Ramsau am Dachstein, there are 19 secured climbing paths accessible, amongst them the world’s oldest one (Randkluft up to Dachstein), the super-ferrata (combining the three paths Anna, Johann, and Schulter up to Dachstein) with 1,200 metres of difference in altitude, and the children’s via ferratas Kali, Kala, and Kalo.
Hiking, walking, trail running
200 km of walking trails await you in Ramsau am Dachstein. Easy-going walks along the plateau, hikes in the alpine regions, pilgrimage trails, themed walks, and high-alpine paths from 1,000 metres to 2,900 metres.

We and our local staff also occasionally enjoy the great outdoors, we might have a tip or two for you.
